  • Kazimierz KOWALSKI

Abstract:

Two species of rodents: Lagurus lagurus (Pallas) and Cricetus cricetus (L.) were found by the author in the collection from the sediments of Tornewton Cave in Devonshire. They formed part of the fauna of England during the penultimate glaciation and are new to the fossil fauna of Britain. The description of the remains as well as the discussion of their stratigraphic significance is given.
