Abstract:
SUMMARY. The author describes the results of ornithological studies carried out in 1961-1965 in the Łańcut Park. The studies were restricted to the breeding avifauna only and to the period from April 15 to July 15 in each year. The collecting of quantitative data consisted in counting singing males by the method described by Enemar (1959), but in the case of some species the author also used the positive method of counting nests. In addition, beginning from 1963 he made observations in the close vicinity of Łańcut, i.e., within a radius of 4 km, mainly in order to get acquainted with the qualitative composition of the avifauna and to compare it with the avifauna of the study area.
