The taphonomy of Sub-Atlantic bird remains from Bazhukovo III, Ural Mountains, Russia

Abstract:

The paper includes a taphonomic analysis of Sub-Atlantic bird remains from a cave called Bazhukovo III, Middle Ural Mountains, Russia. It is highly probably that the remains were deposited by a large owl, possibly the Eagle Owl Bubo bubo.
