Early Pliocene terrestrial fauna with Glirulus (Mammalia) from Pańska Góra (Częstochowa Upland, Poland)

Abstract:

A description of a new Early Pliocene locality from Poland is given. The fauna from Pańska Góra consists mainly of small mammals (Insectivora, Chiroptera, Rodentia). The paper contains a detailed description of Glirulus pusillus remains and a discussion of the origin and evolution of the genus Glirulus.
