Abstract:
Three biting midge species Allohelea tessellate (ZETTERSTEDT), Serromyia tecta Borkent and Mallochohelea setigera (Loew) (Ceratopogonidae) are reported for the first time for the Polish fauna. Diagnostic descriptions are given along with the records; male of Allohelea tessellata is illustrated.
