Abstract:
Comment: families, genera and species are listed in alphabetical order, while the higher taxa in systematic order; number printed in bold type mark volumes, number after colon marks the first page of a description; fossil taxa are marked by cross (+). In volumes I-XXV were described 881 new species or subspecies, as well as 85 new higher taxa, including invertebrates (Nematoda, Amphipoda, Chilopoda, Collembola, Thysanura, Homoptera, Coleoptera, Hymenoptera, Lepidoptera, Opiliones, Acari, Tardigrada) and the fossil Gastropoda and vertebrates (Reptilia, Aves, Mammalia); see Acta zool, cracov., 25: 545-566. In the last ten volumes were described 369 new species or subspecies and 67 new higher taxa.
