Abstract:

Two species of the cleptoparasitic bee genus Sphecodes (Halictinae: Halictini) are documented as occurring on the island of Cuba. Both species belong to the subgenus Austrosphecodes and are new to Science. The species are described as Sphecodes (Austrosphecodes) genaroi, sp. nov., and S. (A.) tainoi, sp. nov. A key to separate the species of Sphecodes from Cuba is provided.
