Use "AND" and "OR" operators.
"AND" meaning both — e.g. castor AND chromosomes = finds documents with the terms "castor" and "chromosomes". All two terms must appear.
"OR" meaning either — e.g. castor OR chromosomes = finds documents with either the first word, the second word or both words.
