Abstract:
Twenty-five species of Tardigrada from Antarctic mosses and lichens are recorded and eight of them are new for science. These are: Echiniscus (E.) pseudowendti sp. nov., E. (E.) jenningsi sp. nov., Macrobiotus blocki sp. nov., M. weinerorum sp. nov., Isohypsibius improvisus sp. nov., Diphascon schusteri sp. nov., D. greveni sp. nov. and D. mirabilis sp. nov. Some specimens of Tardigrada were found in the intestine content of springtail Friesea grisea (SCHAFFER, 1891).
