Materials for the Avifauna of People's Democratic Republic of Korea

Abstract:

A total of 86 bird species were observed by the authors during their stay in the People´s Democratic Republic of Korea from Sep. 18 to Oct. 31, 1978. The most interesting of them are Porzana fusca, Gallinago solitaria and Motacilla lutea taivana. Series of measurements taken permitted biometrical characterizations of some species, e. g. Parus major, P. montanus and Emberiza elegans.
