Scarabaeoidea (Coleoptera) of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea
Abstract:
The author presents a monographic elaboration of the Scarabaeoidea of the Democratic People´s Republic of Korea. The systematic part of the paper contains a review of 138 species, including redescriptions of five species and description of one new to science. Extensive distributional data and locality records are presented as well as feeding habits and behaviour, where known. Results of a detailed zoogeographical analysis concerning the fauna of Scarabaeoidea of the whole Far East, complete the elaboration.
