Zoogeographical Regionalization of the World Based on the Distribution of the Members of the Order Carnivora (Mammalia)
Abstract:
The paper presents an analysis of the occurrence of the Carnivora (Mammalia) throughout the world. It has permitted the characterisation of the fauna of this group in particular zoogeographical provinces and the definition of their boundaries. The distribution of particular carnivore families has also been discussed.
