Psilococcus parvus Borchsenius (Homoptera, Coccoidea) – morphology, biology and taxonomy
Abstract:
The external morphology of the adult female and male of Psilococcus parvus Borchs. and all its developmental stages have been described in detail. Host plants, as well as the data concerning the biology, phenology and geographical distribution of this species are given. On the basis of male characters the genus Psilococcus Borchs. is included in the Eriopeltis group sensu Giliomee (1967).
